The Giardino di Leopolda - literally translated as the Garden of Leopolda, is so named for three reasons; firstly, this is one of the few accommodations in Florence to have its own private garden area surrounding the property; secondly, it takes its name from the nearby Leopolda Train Station, which has now been converted into a meetings and conference centre; and thirdly, it shared its previous name - the B&B Montebello - with a local 5 star hotel, which caused some confusion.
Located on Via Montebello in the south west corner of the city, this cheap Florence accommodation puts guests within an easy half hour walk of the Duomo and the rest of the historical centre.
